I am looking for advice on how to select and set up the right database (CRM) for my organization. We are looking at ActiveCampaign and Hubspot and would like to better understand the difference.
We are a membership-based organization whose members are primarily organizations as well as some individuals, businesses, and foundations. For our current database, event registration, and campaign/email system we are using Constant Contact, Paperform, Zapier, spreadsheets, and Stripe to collect payments. We have approximately 6,000 contacts in our system.
Our needs: maintain members + somewhat engage new ones; do a better job distinguishing paid vs non members; view orgs and individuals and who they are associated with; main issue is double the work to use too many platforms/not being able to get quick data on things like participation at events (attendees on primarily Zoom).
