What did Redwood City Parks and Arts Foundation need?

Nancy helped Redwood City Parks and Arts Foundation review and edit written materials for grammar, typos, and a consistent style and voice so they can publish written materials with confidence.

Why is this project important?

Due to COVID-19, the Foundation is unable to conduct large in-person events this year and all events are virtual. Because of that, the Foundation board will have less interaction with the community members who typically attend events. However, because events are virtual, we are reaching new people. We want to make a positive impact on those community members who know the Foundation, and make a positive first impression on new community members who we are reaching virtually.

This project will save us $1,792, allowing us to conserve resources as the Foundation is unable to conduct normal fundraising activities this year due to social distancing requirements as a result of COVID-19.

What did they have to say?

We enjoyed working with Nancy! It was great to have her input on the messaging for the Foundation's trifold brochure. She provided valuable feedback that improved the communication piece, and she delivered her recommended edits in the time agreed.
